TOKYO, Japan - January 20, 2012 - GREE, Inc. today announced a partnership with RightScale® Inc., a leader in cloud computing management, to take advantage of the RightScale Cloud Management Platform (“RightScale Platform”). The partnership will enable GREE's development partners to work with multiple cloud vendors, through a single global integrated solution.

Through RightScale's centralized dashboard, developers will have the flexibility to host their servers on any cloud vendor of preference, while easily managing it on the RightScale platform. In addition, Rightscale's global capabilities will allow developers to easily manage cloud service providers that do not have a local presence, when expanding to foreign markets. In Japan, developers will be able to leverage RightScale's recent partnership with IDC Frontier - a subsidiary of Yahoo! Japan Corporation that locally offers a cloud serviced.
Amongst other benefits, this partnership will help to reduce operational load and will enable large-scale system management by smaller groups of people. RightScale will also offer premium support services at no cost to GREE's development partners to for verification purposes.

The rise of smartphone adoption and an increase in developers who use cloud services worldwide made RightScale and GREE's partnership increasingly necessary, to adapt to the ever-changing mobile social gaming market.
